Solar Project Eckardtshausen
Solar Project Eckardtshausen
Owner’s Investment
Harnessing our expertise for their own endeavors, our founders also invested in solar so for instance in an over 800 kWp solar installation on the grounds of a former collective farm (Kolchose) from the former GDR (German Democratic Republic) era. This venture, conducted in a joint ownership agreement, serves the benefit of both the operators and our founders, proving to be a lucrative investment. Across several roofs with varying roof coverings, we’ve strategically implemented profit-optimized solutions using different modules and inverters. The proprietary roof mounting system has consistently played a pivotal role in these installations.
Adapting to the diverse roof inclinations, we opted for both crystalline (Trina Solar) and thin-film technology (First Solar). Operating in a decentralized manner across multiple roofs, we chose string inverters (Fronius and PowerOne/ABB) over central inverters. The entire output is seamlessly fed into the public grid through the in-house owned medium-voltage transformer, showcasing the commitment of the owners to sustainable energy practices and innovative solutions in solar projects.
